Soil and Groundwater Investigations

Northstar professionals have performed soil and groundwater site assessment investigations at numerous sites throughout California and Arizona. Northstar staff are familiar with hollow-stem auger rigs, sonic rigs, mud and air rotary rigs for well installation and soil / groundwater sample collection. Groundwater monitoring and soil vapor extraction wells have been installed at many sites in many different geologic settings. Northstar has performed well construction, development, and groundwater monitoring and sample collection activities.

In addition to field services, Northstar has extensive experience in interfacing with laboratories, hazardous materials transport and disposal companies for wastewater and soil disposal, and geophysical companies for locating buried utilities. Northstar's full service includes report preparation suitable for submission to oversight agencies including the RWQCB and the DTSC.
