Scope of work for the project included providing a 250 scfm capacity electric catalytic oxidizer, and a 100-scfm capacity
air sparge blower to remediate petroleum hydrocarbons in soil and groundwater at the site. Northstar personnel delivered
and installed the SVE treatment system, and conducts O&M services. As part of an expanding remedial effort at the site,
Northstar supervised the installation of an ozone injection system including construction of a fenced in concrete pad and
installation of below grade piping to existing ozone injection wells. Northstar performs O&M activities on the ozone
system that delivers approximately 15 pounds per day of ozone into the water table. Electrical power is provided by a
client-owned propane powered electrical generator that Northstar repaired and installed at the site. Northstar personnel
were also responsible for installation of above and below grade SVE and air sparge piping throughout the site. Northstar
has provided services at the site for approximately 4 years including construction services, equipment rental,
refurbishment of equipment, and O&M services and reporting. Total contract value to date is $400,000.
